hi all, haha.. i guess this is my 1st post in this blog.. oh well's..i've thought of setting up a youth band.. anybody interested? we've tried setting 1 up b4.. but it didn;t really turn out well.. but we keep on trying when we fail right? and when we get up, we'll be stronger.. just like the way i fell.. in 2006..i might not have gotten stronger.. but @ least i'll try..
i'll explain why i wish to set up a youth band..
1) with more youths, Der and Liru leading worship, i think the adults are in a sense giving us experience.. so we may lead better next time.we've done concert's before.. to me, it turned out well..by setting up the youth band, we can be more prepared for worship.. in a sense eg. new songs, new style.. or anything.
2)we've got better equipments now.. ok actually only a better drum set.. which doesn't make jamming a bore.. the old drum set was too -.-'
3)and whenever we meet for prac, we can spend some time understanding each other's strength and weakness.. it's a good time for fellowship,and it's a good time to train our individual primary skills. and for some of us, our secondary skills.. we can also use the time to teach the other youths who are interested in certain instruments.. it'll be nice if more people could serve in worship. personally i find it the best way for me.. cos worship does wonders for me.. it's a totally different feeling when u put your heart to playing for GOD.. u dun care if it sounds ok, or wrong.. u just play..
yupp.. i guess that's all for now.. i can't think of anymore reasons.. those interested please tell me.. and i'll see what i can do.. take care!! cya guys tml haha..
